We're excited to share an exclusive first look at the brand new LEGO 40765 Kamino Training Facility ! This set includes 190 pieces and comes with three Clone Cadet minifigures , all wearing the iconic red training uniforms seen in Star Wars: Attack of the Clones .  Each cadet has the same design, featuring detailed printing and a unique logo on their arms that really captures the look from the movie. The build itself includes a rotating turret for training and a rideable training pod , both of which add some fun play features and visual interest. The turret is especially cool—it’s a nice nod to the intense training sequences on Kamino. LEGO did a great job recreating the cadets’ red uniforms—they look spot on compared to their on-screen counterparts. Revealing the 2025 LEGO® House Exclusive Set: LEGO® Fabuland® Tribute

In exciting news for LEGO fans, the LEGO® House in Billund, Denmark, has unveiled its 2025 exclusive set – a tribute to the iconic LEGO® Fabuland® series. This limited-edition set, which will be available starting March 1, 2025, honors the beloved Fabuland theme, which ran from 1979 to 1989. Known for combining the creativity of LEGO bricks with the magic of storytelling, Fabuland was the first LEGO theme to blend imaginative play with narrative elements.

LEGO Fabuland Tribute Set Details

Designed by LEGO House Master Builder Stuart Harris and Senior Designer Markus Rollbühler, in collaboration with LEGO's historians, the LEGO Fabuland Tribute (set number 40506) brings back the famous Fabuland characters, re-imagined through the lens of modern LEGO design principles. Fans will recognize Edward Elephant, Joe Crow, Dr. Lucy Lamb, and Clive Crocodile, who were mainstays of the original 1980s product line.

Kathrine Kirk Muff, Managing Director at LEGO House, shared her excitement about the project: “It’s truly one of the highlights of my year, seeing what Stuart and the team of historians bring forward as the annual LEGO House Exclusive product. This year, we’re celebrating the art of storytelling with Fabuland. On a personal note, I played a lot with the original Fabuland sets, and it’s nostalgic and exciting to see my childhood memories brought to life again.”

The LEGO Fabuland Tribute is the sixth set in the LEGO House Special Edition series, following past releases like The Wooden Duck, The Brick Moulding Machine, Dagny Holm – Master Builder, A Minifigure Tribute, and LEGO Building Systems (2024). These exclusive sets are available only at the LEGO Store in LEGO House, making them a must-have for collectors and fans visiting the LEGO flagship experience center.

A Glimpse into LEGO Fabuland's Legacy

Fabuland was introduced in 1979 and became the first LEGO theme to combine play with storytelling, creating a unique universe where animal characters embarked on charming adventures. Unlike traditional LEGO sets, Fabuland featured building instructions that included short stories, showing characters building the sets and having fun while doing it.

This new LEGO House Tribute set stays true to the spirit of Fabuland by including illustrations based on original drawings by LEGO House Associate Master Builder Didac Perez. The building instructions are divided by character, so builders can choose to assemble the set piece by piece, either alone or with friends and family, bringing the characters to life in a new way.

The Fabuland theme was discontinued in 1989, but it continues to live on through this exclusive tribute. As Stuart Harris, Master Builder at LEGO House, explains, “Fabuland holds a sentimental place in my heart. I’ve spent so much time with our history collection and product archive, and I’ve always been captivated by the series. Seeing its influence in later LEGO themes, like LEGO® NINJAGO®, LEGO® Friends, and LEGO® Bionicle®, is a testament to how Fabuland shaped the future of LEGO storytelling.”

The Lasting Impact of LEGO Fabuland

It was the first to incorporate storytelling directly into LEGO play, and the first to be expanded into licensed products like books, clothing, and accessories. Fans of Fabuland will recall the whimsical adventures that took place in the village, from daring rescues to relaxing at the cozy café.

The Fabuland theme introduced many unique features, such as houses with large, easy-to-handle roof elements, and characters like the Mayor of Fabuland, Lionel Lion. While the names of characters like Edward Elephant varied in different countries, the charm of the Fabuland world was universally loved.
